History of Iceberg
One man. One mission. One Vision
Our founder, Mr. Mahendra Kadam, established Iceberg single-handedly in 1975 while repairing and servicing air conditioners. Upgrading from repairs of window ACs and AC Plants in the late ’70s, Iceberg adapted to newer Energy Conservation Standards and Emerging Technologies like quieter and efficient compressors, non-CFC refrigerants, electronic controls, Inverter Air Conditioners, etc. We now eagerly await the future with thermocouple and magnetic air conditioners.
From servicing and maintenance, we evolved into Turnkey HVAC Contractors who design cooling solutions and are experts at installing systems; initially in the public sector and later private offices and residences. Today, Iceberg is a trusted name among public and private organizations in all things HVAC.
We have worked with some of the most prominent public establishments including BARC, Western Railways, Maharashtra PWD, and a few Defence Organisations. With a team of over 50 people, we continue contributing to your calm and comfort.

Our Latest Projects
Navy Headquarters, Mumbai
After careful evaluation of the Navy Headquarters in Mumbai and interpretation of their cooling requirements, the Iceberg team successfully proposed a unique solution that would condition the air without alteration or damage to the floor space or interiors. We installed 16 ceiling-suspended ACs 64 HP (VRV units) within record time, gaining the satisfaction of the customer.
Western Railway, Mumbai
One of the busiest railway networks in India, the Western Railway is one of the 18 zones of the Indian Railways. Iceberg was privileged to provide custom solutions to their electrical and cooling requirements.
The Cybrary building required a complete renovation of the electrical components. Furthermore, the Iceberg team expertly installed the VRF air conditioning system at the NAIR in connection with Vadodara (Railway Staff College). These requirements were fulfilled well within the stipulated time and received appreciation for the same.
DCSEM
The Directorate of Construction, Services and Estate Management (DCSEM) is a unit under the Department of Atomic Energy. As one of the most vital infrastructures in Mumbai, the plans required execution with absolute intricacy and accuracy.
Our team of experts installed air conditioning systems and performed the corresponding electrical work required to get the systems up and running. With proper planning and efficient execution, the entire project was a success and earned the satisfaction of the client.
PWD
The Public Works Department is a government department in India that is responsible for the construction and maintenance of public infrastructures like a public government building, roads, bridges, public transport, drinking water systems, and much more.
Keeping up with the current cooling trends, we were privileged to install Fully Digitally Controlled Inverter VRV/VRF systems in various avenues of the headquarters efficiently. The installation was completed in time, in line with their requirements, adding to the list of satisfied clients that we have served.
